Everyone wants to be heard and the answer is you having the time to listen and not just hear them speak. It's extraordinary to see how a conversation starts building up slowly and goes on for hours and hours. It's like suddenly talking became so interesting and you start having thoughts that the person you talked to is really really nice and has a really great personality.
